Exchange calendar freezes

Using Entourage with exchange 2003. All of the newest updates have been
done to Entourage. Email is working fine, but the calendar won't work.
As soon as I go to calendar it defaults to the local calendar, upon
clicking on the calendar associated with the exchange mailbox everything
freezes up. I have to force quit entourage and reboot before it will
open again.

I've seen that once on my Mac. A (very old) event was corrupted and
haging the entire process. Deleting the event from OWA fixed everything.
