So, this is mostly aimed at the dev team here, but, if anyone can provide a helpful solution or workaround to my problem I'd love you very much!
Issue: Exchange account only stays connected for 20-30 minutes at a time. Then, it disconnects and gives me this message:
Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password." Your username/password or security settings may be incorrect. Would you like to try re-entering your password?
Well, guess what, there is no problem with it. Now, the only way I've been able to reconnect is to login to OWA and check my junk email boxes. Why? No idea. But, Entourage will then connect again for my short period of time. Awesome!
OK, this is highly annoying and also extremely interrupting when at work. I'd love to be able to use Entourage since my calendar would sync between my Mac and work. That'd be great. But, it doesn't work! When OS X 10.6 comes out, does anyone expect that this will finally be a working, complete product? If Apple Mail has full Exchange connectivity, we'll never have to open this thing again! Ever.
Now, I'm not trying to rant too much here but this is just something inconceivable from such a large company. Is there any fix that can be provided through a software update? Does the fix have to be server side as I've seen online in a few places?
Anything anyone can provide would be much appreciated. And, if I can somehow find something to help fix this abomination, I'll let you know as well.
