Exchange GAL and Entourage 2004 w. sp1

Hi
I probably know the answer but i just want it confirmed.
I cant find a way to browse the global adresslist on my exchange 2000
server from entourage.
I can search it but just not browse it like i could in 2001 (i think
it was that version)
Is this true?

It is. THe GAL is only accessed through LDAP, which is searchable, but
not browsable.
You could enter just a couple of letters in your query though and search
through the results. People usually know at least the first few letters
of the names they need :-\
