I believe I have found the resolution (with the help of Roger - our IT
manager) to a problem that has been posted here - when Exchange
continually rejects the password after initially taking it, forcing
continual re-entry of the password. The issue appears to be a server
setting which is http keep alives - which must be enabled on the IIS
settings for Exchange - and which needs a high timeout value. Ours was
set to 120 and so every two minutes (if a synch wasn't complete) the
online access to Exchange would be denied (or at least that is my
somewhat untechnical view of what was hapenning!).
I post this in the hope this helps someone with the same issue.
