Exchange Public Folders are missing files in Entourage

I'm running Entourage 2004, with all the latest updates, on a G5 with
Mac OS X 10.3.9.

Any files that were coppied directly into a public folder on our
Exchange server (rather than being attached to a message posted to the
public folder) do not show up in Entourage, even though I can see them
in Outlook 2001. Any ideas how to fix this?

I'm running the latest entourage, accessing exchange thru owa, and i
get the same thing. i do not beleive that the folders system is
supported using entourage, although it is supported using a browser
with owa.
