I'm evaluating the mechanism I can use in developing a robust client (like
Outlook) for Exchange. I've come across a stumbling block and was wondering
if anyone had any insight. Exchange supports the following RPC interfaces
which Outlook appears to use for robust client type stuff:
MS Exchange Directory RFR ID: 1544f5e0-613c-11d1-93df-00c04fd7bd09
MS NT Directory NSP ID: f5cc5a18-4264-101a-8c59-08002b2f8426
Exchange Server STORE EMSMDB ID: a4f1db00-ca47-1067-b31f-00dd010662da
However, I cannot find anything specific about the functions supported by
these interfaces. I've even run across some information that leads me to
believe that such is proprietary Microsoft-type info. Is information on
these RPC interfaces private, or does Microsoft allow outsiders the same
access to the robust Exchange APIs?
Any thoughts welcome. Thanks!
