Exchange Sent folder does not show email sent from Entourage

I know I am doing something wrong but my Exchange Sent folder does not show
email sent from Entourage. I use multiple computers and clients (Outlook,
OWA, etc) and need to have every email I send. Can't Entourage use my
Exchange based sent folder rather then my Mac based one?
Commence laughter now. :(

Thanks!

If you are using Entourage configured as an exchange account, this should be
happening automatically. If you are using the IMAP capabilities in exchange,
then there is an option in the account settings to use either the local or
the server sent items folder.

Note that different clients use different folders... I have a 'sent mail'
folder and a 'sent items' folder on my exchange account. Entourage and OWA
use the 'sent items' folder. The 'sent mail' folder is a hang over from some
earlier version - not sure what uses it now. Might have been Outlook 2000.

I'll add this to Barry's comments:

I use Entourage at home to connect to my company's Exchange server using
an OWA connection. Because of the way our firewall (or something) is
configured, none of my messages created at home replicate up to my
server. This includes Sent Items, new calendar appointments, contacts,
etc. I am able to move items from one folder to another and delete items
and these changes are reflected back to the server. Not sure why and my
firewall and Exchange admins haven't been able to determine why.

I know others with similar setups with their companies and everything
works just fine.

Therefore, if you're using what would be your external OWA address for
your email server, determine your server's internal name and try that.

Hope this helps! bill
