I have been unsuccessful in completing the Exchange Server setup in
Entourage 2004. The auto configuration doesn't work, but verifies my
account. I can see the LDAP address book and have checked and rechecked my
account settings. The error I receive is -18597. :( Any ideas?

http://entourage.mvps.org/error/page.html says:
Attempting to send anything yields either 'Unknown Error -17199' or
'HTTP Error. Access to the resource is forbidden. Error -18597.'


I suspect the address of the Exchange server is not the one you should
have used.
Try connecting to your OWA page (webmail) through a browser and once
you're in there, use the address (with the http://) as your Exchange
server in the settings in Entourage.

You need WebDAV to be enabled on the server. THe OWA server is not
always the same server as the one used on Windows for Outlook access
(which uses a different protocol).
