Exchange set-up problems.

The Entourage 2004 set-up assistant finds my correct Exchange servers on
its own when I enter my username and domain - but when I go to verify my
account, it tells me my user name and password are incorrect.

I've been trouble-shooting this for weeks and can't seem to figure out why I
am getting this error. Incidentally, I am able to access my Exchange e-mail
with the old classic version of Outlook, with the same settings.

Outlook accesses the server through an entirely different protocol. It
could be an issue with OWA on this server.
You shoudl try entering the complete path instead of just the name of
the server like:
my.server.com/exchange

That sometimes help go through these problems :-(
