Exchange Setup

I am a new Mac user and I am trying to connect entourage to my Exchange
server at work. The software appears to be connected to the exchange
server, however I am not able to send or receive e-mail. Could someone
please help me?

How do you know you are properly connected??

Try this:
Connect to the Exchange server in your Web browser and once you're in
there, copy the http:// link.

Use the http:// link directly in ENtourage as the address for the
Exhcange server (with the http:// and everything).

It *should* work for e-mail contacts and calendar.

If you have to connect through https, you might need to import a
Certificate for the server in your Keychain depending on yo provides the
certificate.

I'm new to Mac too. I recently setup Entourage to connect/sync with my
Exchange account at work. I'm also the IT Manager, so I have complete
authority on the Exchange server (this may not be the case for you). The
setup seemed to go without too many hitches. I created an Identity solely
for my Exchange account at work. I also have an Identity that I pull all my
internet-based POP account email to from several different addresses.

If you can provide a little more info regarding the trouble you're having,
maybe I can offer some suggestion to resolve your issues.

Are you enjoying the Mac experience overall? I have to say I've been
converted from PC to Mac. The reason I interact with PC anymore is due to my
role at work. ;^)
