Exchange synch trouble

I'm having trouble getting Entourage X to properly synch to my Exchange
mailbox. When I enter in my account and server info, I can see my mail and
my folders just fine, but I can't see any non-mail information in my
mailbox. No contacts, no calendar, no notes and no tasks. I see those
folders, mind you, but the records in them list as if they were e-mail
messages. When I click on the Address Book, Calendar, Notes or Task icons I
don't see any of my information.

Am I missing something fundamental? Please help!

Thanks in advance.

This was posted earlier:
"On the exchange server IIS interface. Make sure in properties of the
default web site, on the Web Site tab, "HTTP keep-alives enabled" is
checked. Once this is done, all Entourage clients free/busy info is updated
and can schedule appointments seeing user data on exchange."

Also, see the tips here:
<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/exchange/exup_entx.html#exup13>

If situation #1 is the case, see Note #15:

Thanks, Mickey.

I went to the entourage.mvps.org site. Tons of good info there. I did as
the site suggested and ran TCPFlow to see what was happening during the
account-creation process. I found that Entourage was trying to log onto my
Exchange server not with the Exchange user ID I had supplied, but with the
short username of my Mac. Entourage is essentially ignoring the user ID I
supplied.

I can't find anything on this problem in any of the usual places (KB,
Slipstick or mvps.org). Changing the short username of my Mac is not easy,
and seems like a band aid solution at best. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!
