Execute external command shell from Infopath VBSCRIPT

I have some vbscript code behind my Office 2007 Infopath form.

From that script, I want to take the value contained in a variable, and pass
it as an argument to an external command that I normally run from a command
shell (DOS Prompt).

I don't require any "return" values.

Is this possible, and if so, how?
