Expanding Outline Levels

In Word 2002, when I ask to show a specific outline level, the display will
update to that level and then do a partial expansion on some of the sections
without any further action on my part. A second selection of Show Outline
Level will sometimes work. Anybody know what's up here?

I've been seeing this, off and on, with Word 2003. I've always just assumed
it's my graphics card driver, but it hasn't annoyed me enough to try updating
the driver...
