expired product key?????

i downloaded this trial and got a product key in my email. every damn time i
try to use this it says the key's expired and i have to convert it over and
over again. royal pain in the ass.

what can i do to actually get this 2007 trial to work?

Hi John,

With all of the Office 2007 apps shutdown use
Start=>Search
and locate the file opa12.dat and recycle it.
Then start Word 2007 and activate it with the key and see if that gets things going for you.

Thanks, but no such file on my puter. At least not that Windows Desktop
Search 3 can find.

thanks. upgraded to Vista and it hosed a lot of stuff, including the office
trial, so i went back to 2003.
