Export Contacts from Entourage to Mac Address book

How is that export done? Entourage exports in txt format, and the Mac Addr

You can drag contacts (don't drag more than 100 or so at a time, 200
absolute max) from Entourage to a folder on your desktop - where they will
become vCards. Then in Address Book, Import vCards, selecting them in the
Import dialog.

However, some data will get confused - phone numbers moving from one field
to another, certain less common fields getting lost completely, etc. (It
will work OK for name, two addresses, a few email addresses). To get a
really accurate, faithful import, you'd need to get my shareware script Sync
Entourage-Address Book (Panther or Jaguar version as appropriate) here:
