It can be done with an applescript, but you will need to provide more
details on how you want to select the events, what information you want in
the CSV etc.

What I'd need is

Date
Subject
Location
Time start
Time finish
Duration

How do I go about creating an applescript??!?

thanks

.... or you could get my Export-Import Entourage scripts, run the Calendar
Export from X script (choosing events by selection, time slice, category or
all of them), then open the resulting .txt file in Excel, remove any columns
you don't want (and use the Excel Extra scripts to change the format of
start and end times, if you wish), and Save As CSV.

Note that some programs, for example web some calendars like Yahoo, that
require a csv really want a Windows-formatted CSV. Excel will let you save
that way too . Sometimes they even want a _specific_ format as exported by
Windows Outlook. If that's the case, then just use the "EvX Calendar to
Outlook" script on the exported .txt file and that will create the exact
type of csv file needed.
