I have a PC and was wondering if there is an easy way to export
Entourage Addresses and Groups into an ACT! database?

Thanks!

You can get my Export-Import Entourage scripts at

MacScripter.net <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/>

There are special scripts for Outlook, which will probably be easier than
using the "Other" scripts whose files ACT might or might not accept.

Outlook does not import groups, so although there is a Group exporter it
won't help you. You should use the various scripts included in the package
e.g. Make Group Contacts) to make sure that all group members are full
contacts in their own right and that they are assigned a category named for
the group. Then in Outlook, after importing, sort contacts by category,
select them, and make them into a Group.

PLEASE always state which version of Entourage you are using - 2001 or X.
It's often impossible to answer your questions otherwise.

Export-Import Entourage X

<http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/category.php?search=export-import>

A collection of over 50 scripts to export and import almost everything -
Contacts, Groups, Calendar Events, Tasks, Notes, Messages, Folders,
Accounts, Signatures, Mailing Lists and Categories - from one identity of
Entourage X to any other, to and from Entourage 2001, and to transfer
Contacts, Calendar, Tasks and Notes to and from other PIM programs on the
Mac and Windows, with special converters for Microsoft Outlook, Excel and
other programs.

Scripts will export everything as tab-delimited text. They
can also import them back again, or into another identity. if you ever need
to. You can also open these files in Excel, which makes them easier to
"read", and there are some Excel scripts in there too which can help
manipulate them for various purposes. That allows export/import of data (not
mail) between Outlook and Entourage.
