Exporting Contacts

When i export contacts to a file, the "User-defined fields" under the "All
Fields" tab do not show up in the file, or when i import them back in.

Right. That's one of many reasons that exporting is not the correct method
for transferring Contacts. Use exporting only if you need to convert them to
another file format.
What is it you need to do?
