exporting contacts

How do I export a Group of contacts to a tab-delineated file? I am trying to create a mailing list so that a company can address envelopes for a client mailing. I can't seem to select a specific group and the only format seems to be .txt

The text file is tabulated so that shoudln't be a problem.
You could assign a category to the contacts you need to find. That would
allow you a quick and easy sorting of the exported contacts to eliminate
the ones you don;t need.

Export as Entourage archive file.

Create a new Identity in Entourage and import the archive file.

Now you can export as tab delimited file just the group since there are no
other contacts in this Identity.

I'm working with a large amount of adresses, all put in different catagories. Now I want them to export (the program says there is no content in the category) What is the best way to expert contacts per category, and keep the file updated also on other macs?
