Exporting Palm data to Entourage

Gents:
Trying to export Palm address book and calendar to
Entourage. Names xfer, but phones do not. If they are both
tab-delineated, why doesn't it work? Is there a 3rd party
route? Is there shareware to help this process?

Just sync your Palm to Entourage to import the data. It's a lot easier than
doing it on the computer.

Do you mean Palm Desktop?

If you have a real Palm get it up to date, then install the Entourage
Handheld Conduit (which is in two very different places depending on whether
you've got Entourage X or 2004 - you haven't said which) and HotSync.
Simplest by far.

If you don't have a Palm you'd need to get my shareware scripts
"Export-Import Entourage X" at

The "Other Programs" was actually designed for PD. Follow the instructions
in the "Other" section of the ReadMe (at the end). I strongly recommend that
you open the Calendar (Datebook) Tab & Return file in Excel and insert a
header line at the top, then save again (as Tab Text file), so you know what
you're doing when you run the Other Calendar to EvX script.
