Exporting

Hi,
I'm sure I'm missing something very basic, but comeone gave me a bunch
of MS Word documents with images they had scanned, I need to edit those
images in Photoshop, but copy and paste SERVERELY decreases the quality
of the images, is there not a way to export thise images to a .jpg?
Or even copy and paste without losing quality. I know in office 2000 I
could edit in microsoft image editor and then save the images, but in
2003 it won't let me use any image editing software other than Word.

Hey hey,
Got myself sorted...
it's a TERRIBLE route, but I'm printing to postscript, distilling the
postscript and then cropping it in photoshop and saving the .jpg or
..tiff.
