Extend.dat error in TS

Running Outlook XP under Windows 2000 terminal services, if a user already
has a session open running Outlook and then opens a second session, an error
message appears "Unable to open Extend.dat...". Clicking OK allows Outlook
to load and function correctly.

Is there a known fix or workaround for this issue?

Any help much appreciated.
