Eye catching timeline template for students?

[Victorian Primary Teacher]

I am writing a publication in Word that requires an eye catching template for
a timeline that I can adapt to show a small amount of years up to 1 000's of
years eg. as in aboriginal pre history in Australia.
The range within MS Help is rather limited.
Could any body please be of assistance in this regard?
