EZ one Maintaining the reference cell in multiple calculations

This is very basic, but I cannot find my book anywhere.
Im using cell g10 to hold my discount value, cells c10 to c100 need to
reference g10 to get the value for the discount, but when I cut/paste the
value increments.

I remember there is a character that you must put in front of the cell in
the equation, I thought it was ! as in (!g10) to maintain this value.
