How do you set up a textbox to sequentially fade text in/out of the same
textbox, for several sequential lines?

You will have to do it with VBA, PPT doesn't natively do this. You could of
course have several textbox and fade them in and out as desired.

Do you mean several textboxes stacked up and aligned on top of each other?
Does that work?

You can of course sequentially fade in and out lines of text in a placehoder
using entrance > fade and exit > fade. Simply expand the custom animations
and adjust the order to give fade in 1/ fade out 1/ fade in 2/ fade out 2 etc
Set to after previous

Ahh ... I knew how to do timed/after-previous fadein/out but didn't know how
to align separate lines of text to the same placeholder.
Thanks,
- Mitch
