Familiar sound when mail is sent no longeroccurs in Entourage 2008...

....even though in Preferences/Notification/Sounds all items are checked off. However, I can't get a sound out of any of the items when I click on them. If this cannot be fixed it is a major drawback of the new Entourage IMHO. Please...someone....tell me that it can be fixed and how to do it. Thanks!

If you look in the Forum you'll discover that others have reported the same problem. Apparently MS is aware of the issue but, so far, we have no update to fix it.
Like you (and many others) I am extremely unhappy about having no notification sounds in Entourage 2008!
