Families in Contacts

This is really a 'wish list' item:

I have lots of families in my contacts. I like to remember their birthdays, but I have to set up a separate contact for each one (even one year olds).

Is it possible to add an extra field to the 'Personal' card for Spouse and Children birthdays that show in the Calendar?

I'm looking forward to upgrading to the 2008 version within the next couple of months.
