Faster event entry in Calendar

I received our meeting schedules for this semester. Is there a way that I
can enter all of them in one shot rather than going to each day separately?
I want to enter Departmental Meeting once and then enter the dates on which
they take place.

If the recur regularly, you could use the recurrence feature. Otherwise,
there's no easy way. Sorry.

Not a complete solution, but you may find Paul Berkowitz's applescript
'Duplicate Calendar event' useful - you could then just enter all the
details once, duplicate it and just reset the date on the duplicate:
