Feedback from MS on Entourage conflict with Vista Mail

Diane,

I understand you elevated the issue with Vista's Microsoft Mail
and Entourage 2008. Did you receive any feedback?

The problem is real and I received a note from another Vista user
this morning.

MS need to fix either Vista Mail or Entourage and the two applications
cannot reliably exchange attachments. I think you concluded the problem
was with .jpg files.

I have not heard anything. When issues are reported, you rarely see results
quickly. I will let you know when I find out anything. You can work around
this by not using .jpg files.

Thanks for the response. I hope someone at Microsoft listened as it is
a problem with programs like iPhoto and just about everything else that
sends .jpg files. Seems to be unique to Vista Mail users. No issue with
any other email application.
