We've recently upgraded to Office 2007, still on Windows XP.
Several experience that when opening a Word document it is opened as write
protected (read-only), but it's NOT in use by anyone else and it's NOT a
write protected document. There does not seem to be any pattern, it just
happens sometimes and then we have to save the document with at new name and
later when it's all of a sudden possible delete the old document.
I've not been able to find any help to this problem.
