Hi All,
I'm new to groups...
Because of a major motherboard and disc failure, I'm migrating from OS
X Panter using Entourage X to Entourage 2004 on OS X Tiger on a new
machine.
Fortunately, I've backed up my Microsoft User Data "Main Identity"
folder fairly recently. I used the wizzard to "import" the Main
Identity data into Entourage 2004. My folder structure imports fine
(i.e., the names of folders that I created in Entourage X), but all of
the folders are empty. There are no old e-mail messages to be found. My
database file in Main Identity is fairly large (2 gigs) so I believe
the old messages must be there...somewhere.
Does anybody have any suggestions for how/where to find them and bring
them into my Entourage 2004 on my new computer. As I type this, I'm
wondering if the probelm is in going from Entourage X to 2004??

It shouldn't be. However, do the missing messages show up when you do a
search for some subject that you know exists?

If so, check the folders are not set to 'unread only' or 'flagged only'
under the view menu.

No messages show up in a search of any kind.
"Unread only" and "Flagged only" are not selected.

Any other suggestions?
