Excel 2002

file will not open

receive Microsoft Send/ Don't Send Error Report message

tried tips in http://www.jkp-ads.com/Articles/CorruptFiles.htm with no luck

do not see "Open and Repair" as a choice in drop-down menus

can not oen and try OpenOffice until receive authorization

any other ideas?

The option is there. When you hit File / open a dialog box appears such
that you can choose which file you want. In that dialog box at the bottom
right, the button that says OPEN will have a dropdown arrow on it. Click it
and choose one of the options.
