filed messages don't show in the folder

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Email Client: Exchange

When I file messages from my inbox or sent items into another folder sometimes they disapear. When checking the folder the file is not there. Also after I synchronize the folder the message doesn't show up. When I check the same folder in web based outlook it's there. Also when opening Finder / Today I'm able to find and open the message. It just doesn't show in the entourage folder.
Does any have an idea how to solve this?

This sounds similar to IMAP. Are you connecting Entourage to your
Exchange Server as an Exchange client or an IMAP client?

If you're connecting as an Exchange client then are you connecting to a
front-end Outlook Web Access (OWA) address or a back-end address that
holds your own account?
