Files in WMP 10 are duplicating--have tried everything I think???

I've ended up here in MS Office as a last resort--have spent the past two
years legitimately putting my CD collection onto my computer--then after SP2
and upgrade issues in beginning of year I have had trouble since. In each
album there might be 4 of the same songs--then some albums are empty when you
look at the folders, then there are pairs that are full that show they are
empty. I have a few rare things that friends made me I need to locate--but
my pride hurts more for not being able to figure it out! I am using XPSP2
home--office xp--wmp10

I can appreciate your frustration. But, WMP isn't part of Office. I suspect
you'd get better & quicker results if you were to post your question to
microsoft.public.multimedia.windows.mediaplayer.
