I was trying to use Paul Berkowitz's "Fill Contact From Form" script (for
Outlook Express 5) with Entourage X... Unfortunately, the script requires
the Akua Sweets scripting addition, which I understand doesn't work with OS
X.
I receive emails that contain website form submissions sent by a Perl script
on the web server. Paul's OE script would scan those emails and create new
contacts automatically from the information in the email. This allowed me to
maintain an email newsletter from within OE.
As far as I can tell, Paul has not re-written the script to work with
Entourage X. And I can't find any other scripts that do the same thing.
Does anyone know if there is a substitute for Akua Sweets which works for OS
X, something that would let me keep using the FCFF script? Or is there
another way to accomplish the same multi-step task in Entourage?
