Filter and Deletion Problems

Hello all,
I have created a form with several subforms showing data from several
hierachical levels of my database. I created this page to allow for quick
selective deletions. The form was working fine until I tried to set it up to
open with a filter such as:

"[Project ID]=[Please enter desired Project ID:]"

The form opens but will not allow me to delete anything. Unfortunately I did
hit save and hadn't made a recent backup of the form. It now won't let me
delete anything from the form, even when I set all "Allow Deletions" to Yes
and clear the filter, opening the form manually.

Please give me some hints. I am frustrated and stumped. Thanks in advance
for any and all help.

There is actually no warning. When I right-click on the record selector, the
option to delete is not accessible. As mentioned in the original question, I
have check the "Allow Deletion" property for all subforms.

Thanks, Adam

Where are you trying to delete from, the main form or a subform?

Are your form and subforms based on updateable queries?

Do you have Cascade Delete set in your table relationships?

I am trying to delete from the subforms first, then the main form.

The form and subforms are all based on tables.

Cascade delete is not activated. Due to the nature of the database, all
higher level records must be deleted individually.

Thanks for keeping with me.
