I've created a file called filter.txt in the
c:\programs\Microsoft\office folder on my computer. A
sample of the contents of this file are:

Junk E-mail Filter

First 8 characters of From are digits
Subject contains "advertisement"
Body contains "money back"
etc.

To create this file I copied from the Microsoft Office
Assistance websiet. There is also similar info for Adult
copntent Filter.

The <Junk Email> feature in Outlook 2002 works fine with
the filter that I've copied from the website. However;
when I add some filter info that was not included on the
website the outlook 02 feature does not work. I've added
my own filter line at the bottom of what MS already had.

How are you supposed to update these filters to include
additional filtering rules. MS can't possibly have
captured all possibilities.

Thank you,
Debbie
