Finally!

Upgraded to SP2 yesterday and now everything Works! I can read
calendars with no bizarre synchronization issues. I can search the GAL
with no problem. I am so happy I can't stand it.

That being said, I have two questions:

1. Is there a way I can delete the "Folders on My Computer" to clean up
the view a little bit. I never use this and now that I don't have to
have it for synch issues I would like to remove it from the pane all
together.

2. Also, is there yet a way to book conference rooms as resources?
This is the final feature that would make me ecstatic with entourage.

Thanks,

No, that can't be done, but you can collapse them all to a single line...

Thanks,

I don't use this facility, but I understand that if the resources are
defined (in exchange) as 'auto-accept' resources then all you need to do is
send an event to the address of the recourse and it will be booked. However,
this does need setting up on the server.

True, but it leaves extraneous information in the Calendar and Address
Book views and basically clutters everything up.

I'll have that admin check the setup.

Thanks for your replies.

One clarification here. From what I have read, having not done it myself,
you need both the auto-accept _and_ the auto-decline agent. The first
accepts bookings on behalf of the resource, and the latter rejects bookings
if the resource is busy. Without the latter, you can double-book items.

Just close (click) the disclosure triangle next to it and it collapses to a
single line. You never have to look inside it. (No, you can't delete it. Big
deal. What's wrong with a single line?)

See Nathan's answer.
