FInd/Delete duplicate addreses in Ent. 2004

When I transferred/set-up 2004 from Ent X, I errantly double imported
a lot of my addresses. Instead of delteing one-by-one (after sorting
so they are in order) - is there a quicker way? I can't find any
"find duplicates" or "delete duplicates". Maybe there is some script
out there somewhere. Any suggestions - it would save many hours!

Thanks!

There is a script called 'delete imported duplicates' at

Thanks Barry - but it looks like that script you suggested is for
duplicate messages. I need one for duplicate addresses. Any other
suggestsions (scripts, applications, etc.)?

If you download my Sync Entourage-Address Book script (either Panther or
Jaguar version) from

MacScripter.net <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/>

you'll find a script called "Same Names Finder". It does not require any
activation code. It will find all duplicate contacts in Entourage (and
Address Book.app, too, if you have any there). You can choose whether to
open the duplicates, if you just have few, to compare and delete one
yourself, or to delete the duplicates automatically, as I think you want. If
you have any triplicates, run it again, and so on.
