find messages from sender?

I have tried to use the "find messages from sender" feature in Outlook but
cannot make it work. I can't find a specific help topic either. All I get
are references to "find related messages" which is not what I want. Also,
is there anyway to change the default in the search feature?

All that feature does is create and run an Advanced Find search based on the
proeprties of the message. You can stop the search and change the scope of
folders searched, etc. at any time.
