find multiple styles at the same time

Hi,

Is there a way to find multiple styles int eh same find statement?

What I need is to find every instance of a header using style x or
style y, and copy them to another document, but I need them to be in
the same order as they are int he original document.

For instance, I could look for all heading 1 and heading 2 entries.

1 - title with style Heading 1
1.1 - title with style Heading 2
1.2 - title with style Heading 2
2 - title with style Heading 1
3 - title with style Heading 1
3.1 - title with style Heading 2
3.2 - title with style Heading 2
4 - title with style Heading 1
5 - title with style Heading 1
6 - title with style Heading 1
7 - title with style Heading 1
8 - title with style Heading 1
9 - title with style Heading 1
10 - title with style Heading 1
11 - title with style Heading 1
11.1 - title with style Heading 2
11.2 - title with style Heading 2

If I find only Heading 1 style, and copy it, then Heading 2 style and
copy it, I get mixed up numbering:

1
1.1
1.2
11
11.1
11.2
2
3
3.1
3.2
etc...

But if I could find the next instance of either Heading 1 or Heading 2
and copy it, it should stay int he same order as in the original
document.

Anyone follow what I'm getting at? If it matters, I have Word97.

Thanks.

If you are using proper numbering (Styles with hierarchical numbering
following Outline levels from 1 to 9), it would be easier to copy the whole
text in the target document, then do a find/replace to look for all
paragraphs styles that have their hierarchical level set to body text and
replace them with nothing, i.e. delete them.
