How do I implement this to find all sequences of letters, symbols, and

can be replaced with a new set of letters, numbers and symbols.

Example:
Start <Appendix 12A>

However, the following may be sufficent.

Dim rDcm As Range
Set rDcm = ActiveDocument.Range

.Text = "(Start )\<*\>^13"
.MatchWildcards = True
.Replacement.Text = "\1new value^p"
.Execute Replace:=wdReplaceAll
End With
