Finding Dates & Adding Values

Hi,

I am trying to produce some management information and am seriousl
tearing my hair out.

I am trying to find a formula to look at a column of dates and selec
select those in a specific range then add the figures in th
corresponding rows from another colum.

Column A = the cost
Column C = The dates

I want to look in 'C' and select all dates in June and add the cost o
the bookings (shown in 'A')

Can anyone help?
