Finding difference of two column values and putting them in new column

E

Eyespan

Hello,

We have two columns of data.
A: Company Name QB
B: Company Name ACT!
C: Final Company Name List

The end result of what we are looking to do is:
1) Find names in Column B that are similair to names in Column A an
choose the column A name and change that name in column B to match A.
For good measure why not copy name into Column C for a reference.

Example1
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A:ABC Corp.
B:ABC Corporation
C:(Keep ABC Corp.)
Example2
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A:pETSHP
B:pet Shop
C: (Keep PETSHP)

2) If the name in column B doesn't exist in Column A: leave unchanged

Is this fuzzy logic?

Thanks,

/mar
