I love Office 2004, but find one issue in particular so annoying it makes me
hate the application.
When you try to assign a contact link to an item (a task for example) there
is no way to "find" the contact. Instead you are presented with a list of
all your contacts and have to wade through them trying to find the right
name.
I'm sure that the Microsoft Mac folks programming this are so overworked
trying to develop insanely great new stuff they only know three people
outside of work so this probably was never a big deal to them. In my case
with nearly 1,000 names in my contact list, it is near impossible to find
the right party.
Why in the world doesn't the link window include the convenient find feature
that is found at the top of all the other windows? Sheesh! What a waste of
an otherwise great feature.
