"Flagged" Tasks not synching to Palm...why? (Entourage 2004 SP2)

This is not a new problem, but it has gotten really aggravating recently.

If you Flag a message for follow-up, a Task is created, and it shows up in
the Tasks view. However, these flagged items do not sync to my Palm. Why is
that? I wind up having to use the ³Create Task from Message² script. Is it
because my Palm devices are all Palm OS 5? (My current handheld is a
LifeDrive; my previous ones have been a T5 and a T3.)

What happens if you open the task, edit it, save, change it back, save, and
close. Sometimes "touching" items created automatically is necessary to
make sure they behave properly. This can probably be automated by script as
well.
