Focus is blurry

Ok I am missing something. I have a main form and within this lovely main
form is a tab control with several pages and on some of the pages are other
forms. Whew!! anyway when one of the pages is selected I want the focus to be
on a specific control. I have tried several senerios such as -

Forms!frmMainFrom!frmServices!strCustNumber.SetFocus ...... not!

Forms!frmServices!strCustNumber.SetFocus ....... not!

Forms!frmMainFrom!frmServices.SetFocus
strCustNumber.SetFocus ...... not!

Where or what am I missing

I think this will work:
Forms!frmMainFrom!frmServices.Form!strCustNumber.SetFocus
