Folder Update

Hi gang, I have an IMAP account on Entourage 10.1.4. I am having a few
issues receiving mail. When I have Entourage open, and I leave it open and
do other work, I often find that it isn't displaying new messages. They will
display if I hit Apple + L, or go to another folder, and switch back to my
inbox. What is up with that?

Do others have this problem, and does anyone know a solution? My send and
receive schedule includes the IMAP account, and I have it synchronizing my
inbox headers only.

Any suggestions?

Unless you've changed the Occurrence options, the Send & Receive All
schedule will only run when you click the toolbar button or access it from
the menu. You need to change the occurrence setting. Go to Tools ->
Schedules and double-click your "Send & Receive All" schedule. Change the
occurrence to "Repeating Schedule Every 1 Minute" and then Entourage will
check your IMAP inbox for new e-mail every sixty seconds.

Thanks Mickey, I have all that set correctly. I think the problem is a bit
more complex, possibly an issue with the server. I have 2 IMAP accounts. One
of them works perfectly w/ the send and receive on schedule, the other
account is a bit flakey. Sometimes it works great. Other times I do not get
a notification of a new message (set in prefs), I do not get a bold unread
number by the folder, new messages do not appear in the box until I hit
Apple + L or switch to another folder, then back.

Any ideas? FYI it's a Groupwise server. Also, I have used the same account
on Mail.app, and it works perfectly.
