Folders in Mail, Calendar, Contacts alldisappeared after upgrade to 2008

I use an email exchange server and ever since I upgraded to Entourage 2008, I've had major problems. Basically, everything on the left side (i.e., folders etc) for ever category in Entourage is missing. I cannot see my email folders, nor all of my sub categories of contacts etc. I have installed and reinstalled several times. And I keep getting the error message that my entire Entourage database is corrupt as well as an SSL error message every time I open Entourage. Sometimes, my email is all blank...has anyone else had these issues?

If your database is corrupt then you can rebuild it by holding down the
Option key as you launch Entourage.

However, for Exchange accounts I don't recommend rebuilding the Database
because any serious errors that may cause messages to disappear will
possibly mean they will disappear from your server when you next
synchronize.

Instead, use Entourage menu --> Switch Identity... and create a new
identity. Set up your Exchange account again and let everything sync
back from the server.

This will not preserve categories and similar metadata but it's a safer
method.
