Fond farewell

U

Uncle Grumpy

I bid you hard-working MVPs in this group a fond farewell. You have
the patience of SAINTS and a sense of diplomacy that might even exceed
that.

I joined this group a few months ago to see what I might learn that
would help the self-taught-me (who is using PUB 2007) put together my
parish bulletin every week. As it turns out, I'm doing quite well on
my own because I'm not afraid to experiment and to try something I've
not tried before.

To you HEROES who are here helping folks with their ever-recurring
problems of printing, viewing images, mail merging, sending
newsletters, creating post cards, etc., etc. (there MUST be a TOP TEN
list somewhere), I applaud you.

You da best.

Hey Uncle Grumpy, I had no idea you were in Chicago. All this time I thought you
were in Australia...
I use to do an Episcopal web site. The new priest said I wasn't reverent
enough...I did it for three years before I was kicked out.
Don't go away, drop in and say hi now and then.

There's no reason to leave. Stick around - even if you don't post. ;-)

I got the moniker "Uncle Grumpy" in a group I frequently post to...
and it fit me so well that I took it on.

I have little patience with folks who ask questions without first
doing some research.

I have NO patience with folks who can't include the version of
Publisher they are using, etc., etc., when they post their questions
to the group.

i.e., ... I might have a problem keeping myself from posting when such
a person appears on my screen.

And they seem to appear daily.
